To qualify as a dispatcher, you must own at least one radio scanner or public safety radio, have a thorough understanding of the police and/or fire radio codes and operating procedures for your area, and have ready access to the Internet as dispatching is done through our web site (a toll-free number will be provided for your use in the event you are not at your computer when an incident br eaks).
